Haven't skipped a payment because I didn't make the $50 minimum. I stopped for over a year and still make an okay amount in passive income. Christmas normally has a huge influx of sales. When I was active(about 20 designs per week), I made double or triple that depending on the time of year. Made 300 USD my first month(first ACTUAL month doesn't count since they skipped that first month). I hit the right niche at the right time when I first started. They Make You Make A Certain Amount Of T's, ONCE You Reach That Sales Level, They Will SHIP And You'll be Paid Your Cut. There Are MANY T-SHIRT OPTIONS Out There That You Can use That Are CHEAPER, EASIER TO SELL ETC.

Only (NOT YET) Zazzle Doesn't CHARGE For Shops. Recently The Started CHARGING For PAYMENT PROCESSING. They DESTROYED The Customized Shop Option, Bonus Program, All The Links And Advertising People Built Up On The Web From The Time They Opened To 2011. "THEN" Once Zazzle "SOLD OUT" To The Likes Of MARVEL, DISNEY, ETC. There Were People EASILY Earning A Living There. In The First 5-6 Years I Made Over 12 Thousand Dollars Just By Putting In A Few Hours Per Week. They Had A GREAT Bonus Plan, Customizable Shops, And Advertising For Your Shop & Stuff Was EASY, WORTH THE TIME. They Claimed To NEVER Become Like The Other Design Sites. It filled my tank, but I wouldn't expect much more from their service. I was excited even though my cut was only about $34. The last time I forgot about my Zazzle store I logged in to see that I had actually made several sales. I usually don't mark up any of my items on there just because I can't justify charging someone $20+ for that quality product where the print will fade that much after the first wash. They take their huge cut before you get their loose change. I'd say if you want to do it just for fun go for it but don't expect to make any serious profit from them. Which made me very unhappy because it was intended to be like a shadow in the background but after washing it once those dark parts of the design stood out way too much. After the first wash everything lightened so much that even the dark gray was very light. The design I got was my PBC Coat of Arms design which has a few shades of gray (dark, medium and light). For dark colors (like black) it's not so good.

If you know how to set up the proper file in the right resolution (I usually over-size it just to be safe) the print quality actually isn't bad. I got a white tee and a black tee to see how the design comes up on both. I bought two of my own products just to see how they look. It's been a few months since I've been there. I have a Zazzle store myself (/pbclothing).
